Description: If you've had a car stolen or vandalised you'll know its not a laughing matter - Our car was stolen from the Asda (Walmart) Sutton Car Park - this is my warning and advice to other people who use the Asda Car Park to park in the safer ParkMark car parks elsewhere in Sutton and reduce the risk of your car being stolen. Our MP and the Police were very helpful. Asda regretfully for them were not... Please note that this is my first video, is a working progress and will be updated. There will be a lot more to follow! I made this video because Asda weren't interested in the safety concerns I had about the car park and didn't answer a detailed letter I sent them about the incident after they got many facts incorrect (in a statement they sent me) and because nothing has changed. CCTV cameras give people a false sense of security because they probably aren't good enough to catch or deter anyone. Car parks who have experienced thefts (even attempted) or vandalism before should display signs to warn their customers that their car park does have a history of car crime especially if no improvements have been made to counter-act it since their last incident.

I have recommended St. Nicholas Centre Car Park in the video as it is easily within walking distance of Asda but the entire list of safer ParkMark Barrier Car Parks in Sutton is;

If you have any helpful information on these car parks I will gladly add this. This is a genuine warning to everyone, not only for your car but for yourself. Many of these thieves probably carry weapons remember!
