Description: Sweepstakes Day is a day thousands of Sporty's customers anticipate. It's the day when one lucky customer is awarded a brand-new Cessna 172 Skyhawk with the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit. In addition, the winner receives two Bose Aviation X headsets.
This year, the drawing took place at 4 pm. Representatives from Cessna, Garmin and Bose were on hand to take part in the Sweepstakes drawing. Sporty's Vice President John Zimmerman welcomed our guests and spoke about the Sweepstakes and how the winner is selected. As Sporty's Certified Public Accountant stood by, numbers were randomly selected which formed an order number of one of Sporty's Pilot Shop customers.
The official winner of Sporty's 2007 Sweepstakes is Otto Sorg from Dexter, MI.
Plans for the 2008 Sporty's Sweepstakes are already underway with the drawing scheduled for September 10, 2008.
