Description: March 3, 2007 Puyallup, WA. The 12000 block of Shaw Road, an older blue 1970's pick up was being driven south bound on Shaw Road. According to witnesses, traffic was stopped at the light at 122 Street east and Shaw Road. It appeared the pick driver tried to avoid rear ending several stopped cars by swerving into the northbound lanes, colliding with the dump truck. Bystanders removed the badly injured driver from the pickup. The dump truck driver was not hurt.
The impact ripped the pickup open. All of the damage is the result of the crash. It may appear that a Hurst tool(Jaws Of Life) was used. This is all from the impact. At this time, I do not know if the driver has survived.
