Description: Immediately after the green flag flew to signal the restart of the race following Brett Bodine's accident, contact between the Chevrolets of Harry Gant and Steve Grissom sent the latter car head-on into the outside wall as they began to accelerate. Rookie and reigning BGN champion Grissom had been running solidly in the top-10 and was primed for a career-best performance. (And this, my friends, is why we DON'T race back to the caution.)
