Description: The green flag comes out to begin the 2001 Dura Lube 400 at Rockingham, but is quickly displaced by the yellow when Dale Earnhardt Jr. crashes in turn 3 of lap 1, to the dismay of fans still grieving the loss of his father one week earlier. Kenny Wallace and Mike Wallace are also involved.
The clip also features Fox's first silent Lap 3, a gesture performed for the remainder of the season as a tribute to Dale, and an interview with Earnhardt Jr. following the crash.
