Managed to catch a nice transition from dusk to night. Tracking direct to KUTA waypoint for the VOR approach before breaking off for a night visual approach. The runway and airport is notoriously very dark!! Type : 777-200 Landing Weight : 190 tonnes Approach Speed :137 kts Weather : Pitch black moonless night, clear skies, light and variable winds.

This is a rather old Video from the mid nineties. It shows an approach to RWY 02 with a circle to land to RWY 20 at Kathmandu-Tribhuvan Airport (KTM/VNKT).
