Flight VS025, LHR-JFK. What a magnificent aircraft to fly on during my trip to New York with my college. She certainly was comfortable. Watch her trademark long takeoff run and some mist on the wings on climb-out. Includes takeoff from Heathrow, in-flight, and then descent and landing in New York.

The first time I've ever got this beauty landing in good conditions. Arrived at 9.10am almost two hours late (a rare event) and the weather was really in our favour. She was also the third-from-last aircraft to takeoff on 24L before the midday switch to 24R. Enjoy.

As if it wasn't rare enough to see two 747s together at Ringway, here two passenger 747-400s (SQ and VS) line up together for a 24L departure. The display of spray is incredible. It blew me and my Nan right back when we were struck by this wall of water!! Enjoy a classic 747 scene at MAN :D
