Coldstart of my lawn mower that has been sitting for 5 years, the only thing I did was I changed the spark plug and then primed it 5 times

this is a Briggs & Straton engine running a piston pump which I am hooking up to a fountion

Oh, man this brings me back! October 2003 we completed our very first engine rebuild. At the time we only had maybe 4 tractors. An early "reel" blade lawn mower built by Toro in June 1950. It has a Briggs and Stratton model 8 gasoline engine. Starts with one pull. Owned by one of the One Banger Boys also featured in this video.

I got this engine off ebay untested. It had a thrown rod, after a rod, piston and crank replacement here is the first run.
