This is the first-run, first video of World Famous Gerg flying one of his 2 gyrocopters. The video starts out from the air, about 200' up, and we are onboard for a very close-up and personal "touch-and-go", then climb up to 600 feet (180m).

The runway runs North-South, along the 170* and 350* line, so just 10* west of true North. Our hangar is the first one at the very end of the runway, which is the first taxi approach to runway 17 (south heading). Winds today favored runway 35 North, so we taxi east from the hanger, then taxi south and take off on.... more

This is the conclusion of Chapter III, what would not fit into the 10-minute limit here. Nice video of a VERY short touch-and go. The front wheel never even comes down, and the gyro is back in the air in 10-20 feet, in dead calm wind.

Gerg's first cross country flight, 15 miles one-way from CTJ to his home and Lake Tara. 2/3 of the way there he does a 10' low fly-by at Zellie's Field, a 2000' grass airstrip owned by Zellie. This is what is turning out to be SportCopte'rs FINAL version of the physical appearance of the SportCopter II GyroPlane.... The power-plant and propeller is still to be upgraded, but WOW.. what a nice machine..... And... thanks to Randy,, my most favorite and most excellent helicopter pilot I know...
