1984 Toro mower four-stroke runs on two-stroke gas/oil mix. Stihl two-stroke oil 50:1 gas:oil ratio. Opti-4 in the crankcase. Thought it would smoke a lot but it doesn't at all. With 1600 hours on engine, this mower usually smokes a fair amount on straight gas.

I have been breaking in my new engine over the past 3,000 miles. I have been running Idemitsu rotary racing premix at every fill up and with 5W-20 as I forgot to specify 10w-30 when I took my car in for an oil change after 1,000 miles. This is the watercooled stroker starting and idling. New exhaust sounds muffled and quiet until broken in, then the true low snap sounds come in. I am trying 20:1 premix with belray oil according to Dans two stroke site. The guy has good advice and I am always learning. More videos to come. I may be 45 but I will always be 20 in my mind. I just love my little Honda elite.
