This is a video about the Minimost boat that I built in 2007. This sort of boat is the predecessor of the jet ski. Many such boats were built by youngsters in the 1950's and 1960's from plans in Popular Mechanics and other do-it-yourself magazines. In this video the boat is being powered by a 1958 18hp Evinrude outboard with a 12 pitch prop that pushes it at about 30 mph.
