To check try and get water out of your engine if it has ingested water, you should remove the coils and plugs and try cranking the engine. Any water inside should come spurting out. Thankfully mine turned out to be a wet maf sensor, but if you think water has gotten inside, this is the first step to help fix it.

After hydro locking his Maverick, me and Damo removed the intercooler and glow plugs and turned his engine over to remove the water from the cylindors. After this video was shot, we put the car back together and it fired up first time! You just cant beat Nissan engineering (even if it does come with a Ford badge on it)

I got into some deep water in the pond at Daves farm. It quit running at idle, had water in the motor, and the carbs came disconnected, but thanks to Daves help we got it going again.

I made a video about 3 days ago called "Tecumseh 5hp engine cracks block while running", that Tecumseh cracked after hydro locking 2 times. This briggs hydro locked 8 times and is still running great, only problem was the camera ran out of power.
