A northbound CSX intermodal slows to a stop so the crew can get a bite to eat at the local convienance store. This is a rare occasion, as Intermodals almost never stop around here. There is also an ex-Conrail Dash 8-40C in the consist.

The Carnival Pocession started at Crofton High School at 12 noon and made it's way to Crofton Community Centre along the following route: High Street, Santingley Lane and Middle Lane. The procession was co-ordinated by West Yorkshire Police and Crofton Carnival Committee.

A Northbound CSX mixed freight gets the green after sitting in downtown Crofton, Kentucky for 2 hours due to mechanical problems (a busted air hose near the rear of the train).

A new location for myself, but one that I shall remember for times to come! A small village nestled along the Kennet&Avon Canal, Crofton. The mainline running aloong side is 'The Berks & Hants' Mainline which serves the Paddington-Penzance HSTs, and the occasional Freight from Quarry-Quarry. Today we seen.... more

A CSX southbound mixed freight with a fairly rare (at least for these parts) UP SD50 in the consist gets the green after waiting on the siding for a northbound freight to clear. (Note: I would have taken more video but my memory card ran out right there!)
