Here's a video of the new Back Yard Flyer from Valley Engineering with its four-stroke Big Twin engine. Remember, this is a part 103 LEGAL Ultralight WITH a four-stroke engine, starter, alternator, battery and individual toe brakes. Not only that, the wing swings 90 degrees for storage... in less than 5 minutes.

Taken at Kaj Pindal's place in Oakville Ontario Canada. He has a 15" gauge electric tram system in his yard. Kaj just recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of the "PET" Pindal Electric Tramway - congrats to Kaj!

Week 10

HUMMER's Design Director Carl Zipfel doesn't have to go very far to seek out adventure. In fact, all he has to do is step out his back door. He designed a dirt bike track in his backyard. It's a family thing too -- even his three children are fixtures on the track. He also describes how his passion for extreme sports.... more
