Sailplane flight October 11th, 2006 in North Plains, Oregon, USA. View from the cockpit of a PZL Beilsko SZD 51-1 "Junior". The Junior is a 15m fiberglass ship that seats one and has a fixed wheel landing gear, and a glide ratio of 35.8:1 at 43 knots (50 mph).

A 2007 replica updated with a 3 channel and glow engine. Video starts with a 1940 advertisement from Comet and descriptive specs for the 2007 version built and flown by Jim Kummerow, an IMAC and Giant Scale flyer. AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL!!!

Here we again in Immokalee Florida performing an aero tow launch using a Cessna 182 as the tow plane with my good friend Ted as the tow pilot. My beautiful wife Linda and I are in the Schweizer 2-33 sailplane, with Linda in the front seat holding the camera and myself in the rear seat flying the sailplane.
