An eastbound empty grain train heads east through heavy rain from Sandy-The Dalles OR, On November 16th, 2007 after meeting two westbounds.

A video of my chase from Cass Lake to Deer River of the BNSF 9337 an EMD SD70ACe on a Clay Boswell coal train. I like the cab mounted lights of the SD70ACe better than the nose. SD70ACe BNSF.

SD70ACe taking off after a fresh crew takes the controls. First SD70ACe I've seen in person, and only SD70ACe I've seen on the Lakes Sub.

Union Pacific SD70ACe's #8570 and #8392 notch up and pull a mix freight eastbound out of Portola. The first horn you hear is from a locomotive at the Portola Railroad Museum, not the SD70ACe's as this was during the Railroad Days festivities. I thought it was appropriate to see a classic Western Pacific boxcar in the manifest, so my camera zooms in on it (1:49).
